Extended notification not sending email in sost

Experts,

I have done the configurations in SWNCONFIG as suggested in the SAP documents and also schedule the job for program SWN_SELSEN. But still i am not getting the emails in SOST.

I have checked the Log in SLG1 and found everything as green. Also i noticed in the log that GET_WI_AGENT has 1 record and also my workitem id is determined.

in the end of log i have message 0000 Notifications are sent.

checked in SOST and no emails.

could you please help me in understanding what has gone wrong and why i am not getting the notification?

Hi Rob,

Users have email id maintained in SU01 with communication method as INT.

i checked the report SWN_SELSEN_TEST, it is giving same details as i have in the job log.

Hi,

I suggest to check your swnconfig again. Filter, schedule selection for Full & Delta, delivery schedule.

Hi Rob,

Finally i got some clue on my problem.

in SWNCONFIG under subsription setting i gave:

Recipient ID as  *

Recipient type as RML

I did debugging of SWN_SELSEN and found that the recipient id in the table SWN_Notif is my SAP ID and  select is trying to fetch recipient ID with * in the table hence the select statement on SWN_NOTIF is not fetching any records and system gets nothing to sent.

could you please help me by suggesting the right values for recipient ID in swnconfig.

Hi,

Then it works exactly as designed.

If you cge the communication type for Delivery type EMAIL_HTML from Internal SAP user to INT email, then extended notification knows it has to create an email and it would then be visible in SOST
