Drop and reload the data for dso using 2lis_06_inv

Hi Gurus,

I have a requirement to drop and reload the dso(0sriv_d3) which gets feed from 2lis_06_inv as i have added a new characteristic now. On top of the dso there is a dso,some cubes, multiproviders and Infoset.

Would it be better to drop and reload all the data in the dso alone (by filling set up tables for 2lis_06_inv and do a init and then delta) or do a full repair?

If you do a full repair of complete drop and reload of the dso do you again have to adjust data in the above targets?

Suggestions would be helpful.

    Hi FM,

    if you need historic data for added info objects then its better to delete and reload whole data from all targets(if ne objects added) which feeds data from your DSO(where you added new objects).

    Without deleting data from upper targets, system won't allow you to delete data from middle target.


    is this new objects have been added in upper targets as well?


    at PSA - have you all historic data? if yes the loading from source is not required.

    if there is no historic data at PSA then filling set up tables and reload is mandate.

    • Hi,

      Without deleting upper targets data, system won't allow you to delete data from middle target.

      Lets at dev system for any data flow and check it.

      if it allows then fine to continue with drop and reload full load data upto DSO.

      filling set up tables is mandate.

      before doing this task, please lock source system or do this task at weekend where there is no business.
