Unable to partition the cube

Dear Experts,

Am trying to partition the CUBE by Calnedar Month. But below options are diabled for me though am in edit mode. Kindly suggest how to enable the below.

Hi,

Sometimes option get disabled if you have data in Info cube.

Delete data from Info cube and try again.

Hi Krishna,

Even I had one Info cube where Partition options were disabled. I am not sure why it had disabled. You can try like this:

1. Right click on Infocube.

2. Additional functions -> Repartitioning.

3. Choose Complete Repartitioning and click on Initialise Button.

4. Specify Partition condition and say ok.

After that when you Edit info cube and try to partition it, then options will be enabled.

Your cube should be empty for partitioning otherwise use re-partitioning which required more system resources as per no. of records in your cube.
