Hi Friends,

We have a client requirement to capture CLA (Monthly/Annually) for a particular grade & above only. We maintained IT0581 with type 05 (CLA) & saved the record. As per SAP Standand process - system dynamically triggering to IT0008 where HRA  WT is already there for the employee. My client don't want to see CLA in monthly gross salary (either Earnings or Deductions of EE Payslip) instead want to add that amount to EE CTC & that should be added to taxable salary. Now my query is

1) Which WT (HRA or CLA) we have to maintain in IT0008 after saving IT0581 record?

2) If we maintain only one WT (either HRA or CLA) - the different amount should not be shown either in Earnings or Deductions of EE payslip?

3) Which value we can maintain the CADTR Constant in V_T511K ( to consider CLA amount to be taxable) ?

Can anyone please suggest with your replies asap?

Hi Friends,

Just to add the above query - when I am trying to save IT0581 with type 05 (CLA) - the HRA WT in IT0008 is getting replaced with CLA WT. Please suggest the scenario.

Hi Sreekanth,

As per govt rule. Company can provide only one of there HRA/CLA/COA.

IF you are opting for HRA then you are not eligible for CLA or COA.

All these WT needs to be defaulted from IT581.....and when you save it. Automatically corresponding WT is triggered. Benefits of maintaining like this is, system takes exemption automatically.

1) HRA/CLA/COA copy from standard WT and maintain T7INT9. Then automatically corresponding WT would trigger.

2) As per standard you can opt for only one WT.
