System Prerequisites fro BRF and BRF+

Hi Experts,

Please let me know the system prerequisite which I need to check before implementing BRF or BRF+.

Hi Gaurav,

BRFplus is part of the SAP NetWeaver (SAP_ABA) and as a consequence available in the ABAP Stack. It was released with NetWeaver 7.02 (I do not know the SP, it was a low one but the SP is definitly out of maintenance in the meantime 🙂 ) and since then constantly improved with each NetWevaer release.

Attention: In a NetWeaver 7.01 System you might also find BRFplus objects, but do not use them. They were some kind of preliminary shipment that should not be used.

Who needs BRF if he can use BRFplus 🙂 But to be honest: I do not know since when BRF is available officially, definitly before NetWeaver 7.02. Nevertheless I would recommend to use BRFplus for implementations
