Context menu BEx Query not working

Hi all,

the context menu of a BEx Query is not working (e.g. back to initial state). I have tried to fix the problem and the only way it works is to reduce the number of free characteristics (in many other BEx Querys we have more free characteristics and it is working). Do you know if there is an opportunity without reducing the number of free characteristics? Did someone had the same problem and solved it?

Many thanks in advance,

Markus

    Hi Markus,

Can you please try adding &ALLOW_MUTI_DP_RESET=x at the end of the URL for the relevant Query where the problem is occurring and check whether it helps you. Please do not make any changes in the standard Web Template 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN

Also, please refer the following SAP Note:

1581923 - BEx Web:Optimization on Back with many Data Providers.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Sapna

    • Hi Sapna,

this problem doesn't occurs if you execute the query via RSRT -> display as HTML. Only on Java web side / portal this problem occurs. Our Patchlevel for Java components (BI WEB APPLICATIONS) is SP7 and for ABAP SP5.

Unfortunately the KBA note means that is possible to have problems with Patch Level 0 - but we have an higher level.

      Thanks,

      Markus
