Questions regarding connected models (hana calculation view)

Hello BO Cloud Gurus,

I have few questions regarding connection to a connected model (in my case a hana calculation view).

1. How can we work with measures with aggregation type AVERAGE ?

I can't work with measures defined with aggregation type AVERAGE. As soon as i drag a dimension to chart related to that measure, drilldown fails with the following message :

=> same measure with aggregation type SUM works like a charm

2. We can't use level based hierarchies. Do you know if there is some limitations about using hana level based hierarchies ? Parent-Child hierarchies seems to be ok.

3. How do we manage time hierarchies ? We some dates with standard hana type date and want to display it in charts but with the ability to aggregate in month, year etc... Wasn't able to figure it out. Single values display in charts (meaning each date)

Thanks for your help,

    Hi Christian,

Regarding Q1: Could you please create a simple workflow how you would like to achieve this and what you do when facing the error at the end?

Q2 and Q3: Checked with Dev Ops and answer is: Yes.

Both features are planned to be released in future.

Couldn't tell you more regarding the exact dates.

    Thank you,
