Catalog Services Unavailable

Hello Experts

We are unable to load a catalog service into SAP WEBIDE, as we are currently connected to a gateway system from webide but unable to view services, instead a message pops up stating "catalog service unavailable" but our Netweaver system has services in it.

Hello,

Did you activate the Catalog-Service in the gateway? Transaction /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE ?

If I remember correctly this is also stored in a customizing table in the gateway system.

Hi Sriram,

As per your screen-shot Ii understood that the gateway service was not yet activated under IWFND in the frontend system.

If it is activated, /sap/opu/odata/iwfnd/catalogservice/CatalogCollection ---> It will return the system details in the response. But in your screenshot it returns 500 Internal server error.

Kindly check the above information in use and activate the service in frontend system.

You can also check if your record is here and add it maybe:

Check the record in SPRO -> SAP Netweaver -> Gateway -> OData Channel -> Administration -> General Settings -> Assign Data provider to Data Model for your model. As per the error Software Version is DEFAULT.
