Transport Request or its equivalent in Employee Central

Dear Members,

1. Like in good old SAP, where we transport configurations to Q and PRD environments, how is this stuff done in SF?

Lets say there are 3 instances ( STAGE, TEST and PRD). The data model changes, BCUI changes etc - how do we move them to Test instance

2. There are many configurations that cannot be transported and we do directly in Q/PRD systems. Are there similar instance dependent activities in EC?

3. What is the purpose instance sync in EC? Is this like client copy?

typically we have Instance as the tool for configuration objects and settings from one SuccessFactors instance to another.

These are being used as a transport mechanism, You can enable this from provisioning

its not completely client copy as it doesn't copy master data,

earlier they were doing it manually or using instance refresh or copy as well. this tool is helpful
