MM42 - POS - Different Areas of Validity

Dear Experts,

Once a material is maintained on MM42 tcode under POS tab at plant (XX) level (For example: sales status change). It creates new entries on WLK2 table for the plant number entered. Also these entries can be viewed under "Different Areas of Validity" option on MM42 - POS.

I want to maintain the related material at Sales org - Distr. Chl. level from now on. l expect all the plants under this org. to be effected when l enter just Sales org - Distr. Chl. for any changes.

All the plants gets effected, except the plant (XX).

How can l remove or exclude this plant from "Differently maintained areas" in standart ways?

Hi Koray,

basically, on site (XX) level, you have maitained at least one value different than on general level.

Therefore it is shown on "Different Areas of Validity".

So, if you revert the different maintained entries back to the same value as on general level, then the entry in "Different Areas of Validity" should be removed. After that, all changes done on general level should also affect your site (XX).

Tobias

Hi Tobias,

l ve already tried this but it was not removed from "Different Areas of Validity" and changes did not affect the related site(XX). If l remove the additional row about site(XX) from WLK2 table, it is removed from "Different Areas of Validity" too. Everything gets back to normal. But how can l do this in standart ways?

Hi Koray,

Once you have maintained different data at site level then any changes at the distribution chain will not reflect at the site level. As for as my understanding there is no standard way to remove the entries from WLK2 table. Thanks
