IR01 and CR01 - Differences

Do you guys know if is there any difference between IR01 and CR01 ? I need to create a LSMW to copy work centers for PP and PM, if this transactions are equals, I can creat just one LSMW.

Hi Michel,

IR01 you can create work centers for category 0005 - Plant Maintenance but you can not do it using CR01. CR01 is specifically for Production line on shop floor.

• There is no difference between these two tcodes.
• Both tcodes are originated from another tcode CRAH, which runs program SAPLCRA0.
• CRAH takes you to IR01 screen if you give WCtr ctgy 0005 and to the CR01 in case of 0001.
• Inside too absolutely no changes will be found. If you study very carefully you might be able to find difference in maximum one field (my memory tells), otherwise both are identical inside too in all respects.
• As I mentioned all difference is 0001 for Production wctr (CR01) and 0005 for Maintenance wctr (IR01).
• My impressions is for the convenience of using only same program has been given module specific tcodes.

Hi Michel,

IR01 & CR01 are mapped to the same screen of IR01, so there is no difference between these two screens you can go with creation of single LSMW.
