MD04 Production Order Re status doesnot update on Order Release

Hi Team,

Scenario is  as follows:

Material is Batch Managed:

So I have created a Prod.Ord for a Material and Manually created the batch for the header Material and Released the Production Order and on Release the expectation is Insp.lot should Trigger from EWM

At the moment I couldn't generate an Insp.lot from EWM.

However, I have the work around for this though,

I have created an Production order and saved it and now I have released the production order and then created the Batch and Saved it.

In this way I could see Insp.lot triggered from EWM successfully.

But what the business want is batch creation at production order creation and on Rel Insp.lot should be generated.

Weird thing is why isn't the Insp.lot generated for Pre batch creation at Prod.ord Creation.

Few Analysis what I had performed:

1.In the scenario where the Batch is created at prod.ord Creation and On order Rel even though the Prod.ord gets the status REL this is not visible in MD04 for that Order as "XXXXXRe".

2.I have also checked the Production Scheduling Profile and the settings are fine as there is no batch creation activated either at creation or Release of the Order.

3.For Pre batch creation of orders when we Release them we cannot see the AFPO-DFREI is getting updated with Indicator "1" but for Batch created at Ord Rel this field gets Updated.

I don't understand what could be issue in this.

This was working fine until recently and it isn't working at the moment

Hello

The question here is why AFPO-DFREI is not set when you release the order. Which transaction are you using to release the orders? Are you running any kind of user-exit or BAdI during the order release, which could affect the system standard design?

Maybe you can take a look on FMs CO_ST_STATUS_CHANGE_FOR_ACT,  'CO_ZR_HEADER_RELEASE_NEW' and CO_ZR_OPERATION_RELEASE_WB to check why this indicator is not set.
