How to Identify Default and Non-Default Address for a Customer

Hi Experts,

I am in need of finding default address information for a customer (Business Partner) and how we can identify a particular address as a default one.

Are there any indicators available which will get enabled for a customer indicating the default address from the available list of address. Do we need to mark it up on UI for making a particular address as a default one.

In the same way I also need to identify all the address which are not referred as default one to get communicated with.

Please help on this to get clarified with. Also looking for the information like, can we use the same logic in Customer Webservices to find the default address and non default address.

Regards

Hanu K

    Hi Hanumath,

    There's a flag that indicates if the address is default:

    Customer > AddressInformation > AddressCurrentAddressDeterminationProcesses > DefaultAddressDeterminationProcessRelevanceIndicator.

    In webservices, the default address may be indicated with the tags:

    <AddressUsage>

    <AddressUsageCode>XXDEFAULT</AddressUsageCode>

    <DefaultIndicator>true</DefaultIndicator>

    </AddressUsage>

    Best regards,

    Alexandre.
