Hi Gurus,

My testing on background job for program RFEBKA00 is failing with error "File \Users\SAhme\Desktop\DB.txt could not be opened"

I already created a variant. File is being picked but failing due to some reason.

The same file is working fine when I do it manually with FF_5.

Could you please advise what could be the reason of failure.

I have found that the reason that this can happen is that you need to provide a file path which the  SAP system can save to. It's not for your personal folders.
It is the program which puts the file in the folder, not the user.

Hi,

In FF_5 , give the session names: 1 (Name Derived from House Bank ID and Account ID)

This might resolve the issue.

Is the "Workstation upload" parameter checked in the variant?

A screenshot of the variant would be helpful for this issue.

Path is looking for file at your desktop.

Try saving a file on your C drive, for example in Temp directory, the path should look something like "C:\Temp\filename".

Most likely the issue is that the program is not recognizing the path you gave it.

I think your path is missing "C:" in front.
