How To Subscribe To "SAP inbox" HTML5 Application?!

Hi,

I have a trial HCP account and found a nice online tutorial from SAP about consuming services using HCP and a cloud demo system SAP supply (ES4).

Everything was going well until got to one of the last steps which was to subscribe to the inbox application (crossfndfioriinbox). In the demo there are 45 HTML5 applications to subscribe to but on the trial HCP there are only 7 and the inbox app isn't one of them!!!

Please advise whether the trial HCP can be connected to the standard SAP applications and if so how do you do it? thanks.

Cheers,

Spence

    Hi,

If you are talking about Fiori apps, probably the best thing to do is get a trial of SAP Fiori, Cloud Edition from this link SAP Fiori, Demo Cloud Edition

The above link will walk you through everything related to SAP Fiori including getting the trial apps to talk to your backend system.

    Hi Spencer,

The trial HCP accounts do not come with Fiori Cloud Edition Apps.It is in the trial landscape based in Europe. If you register for a Demo account in Fiori Cloud Edition, you would be given an account (in a non-trial landscape close to your region) which will have those 45 Apps you mentioned.

You could probably download the MyInbox Fiori App from Demo account and import in your HCP Trial account and setup your HCP-ODP Provisioning within your HCP Trial.

      Murali/Gareth,

Hi, thanks for your advice. I was able to export app out of Fiori Cloud and import into HCP Trial. So thanks for your help.

Having some fun and games with HCP-ODP provisioning into a SAP demo cloud system but that's another story................!

      Cheers,

      Spence
