AO (2.1) not showing Hierarchy structure for Prompt

Hi,

I am not able to see Hierarchy display in AO prompt screen.

I am viewing HANA calculation view, in AO (version 2.1.0). I have created a Hierarchy variable on a Dimension.

When I do data preview in HANA studio, I can see hierarchy structure in search option for this field. but in Analysis for office it only shows Key and Text.

It means AO is not reading Hierarchy structure at the time of search help (F4).

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hi Saurabh,

I don't have AO 2.1, but only 2.2.3, and read the "User Guide" (PDF)...

Chapter 4.3.1.2 "To filter data by member within hierarchies" probably describes what you are looking for ... even if for filtering inside the Report and not in the prompt Screen.

Maybe you check the User Guide for Version 2.1, and try if it makes a difference when using a filter on a member inside the query.
