Facing issue in Connecting AO to HANA via ODBC

Hi Everyone,

This is an old issue and I have read many blogs on this but still not able to solve the below issue

I am facing below issue and request your help.

1) I have Excel 2013 -32 bit version

2) Analysis for Office below version-2.2.0.51997

Which installed on my Excel and I am able to see the Addon

3) Now I want my Analysis for Office to connect to HANA system via local ODBC connection, for this I installed HANA client 32 bit version ( As both my Excel and AO are 32 bit)

For that I did as below:

Start>>32bit ODBC Administrator>>

Then I Configured the connection and is successful

4) Now I opened Analysis for office, selected Data source, clicked on Skip and to my surprise I don't see the ODBC connection here'

I can see the connection I defined above in Design Studio

Please help me what I need to do to see the connection in AO, and where I have gone wrong.

Please read the SAP Help/Admin Guide for Analysis Office

    https://websmp202.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/012002523100008856672016E/23_aaoffice_admin_en.pdf

    (SMP logon required)

    It states:

"SAP HANA platform connections are now implemented as an HTTP connection. The ODBC connections that were used in former releases (1.x), are no longer supported. After creating an HTTP connection, you can change the connection type in a workbook or presentation."
