    1. Very general. Plenty of BO errors exist - have a look at the error messages of this document:

    http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/boexir4/en/xi4sp5_ia_en.pdf

    2. Try rebooting - there can be a resource conflict; I've seen a flash upgrade cause this once. Another time it was a windows update that had broken and a dll file got corrupted. Java is also a potential cause.

    3. This is more of an Acrobat issue. I've never encountered this problem.

Rebooting the server - a standard fix for most Microsoft operating systems.

Updates to other software can cause issues; different versions of BO rely on specific versions of JRE (Java Runtime Environment).

It's always wise to check the PAM to see what your specific version of BO is compatible with.

As for Flash, I've had plenty of issues with it without using BO, let alone with it!

    Hi Ram,

For BO error there could be so many reasons depending on error message u receive

For any tool not opening it could be installation issue or missing addins

For PDF once it gets exported it's all Adobe that may have issues u can cross verify by exporting the same in any other formats

root cause can be bad design, bad sizing, install issues, product bugs, improper use of the product.
