if statement

Hello,

I have a basic if statement in my report:

WhilePrintingRecords;

Numbervar Sday4;

if SDay4 < 0 then

SDay4;

else

0;

I what to replace the 0 (zero) with "**OKAY**" but since this a string value it gives me an error message:

It highlights "**OKAY**" message -> A number is required here.

Any suggestion?

I tried totext("**OKAY**")

Thank you in advance

Gerald

    If SDay4 < 0 then

    ToText(SDay4)

    else

    '**OKAY**'

    Take a look at the help for "ToText" to determine what you need to do to format the number correctly when you convert it - the default includes two decimal places and a comma as the thousands separator.
