Employee Central - User ID

Hi,

Am I right is saying that in EC there are no personnel numbers assigned to employees and that all employees get a user I.D?

Let's say if the client wanted to use system generated personnel numbers for employees in EC is this possible to setup?

Thanks

Andy

Just curious as you have posted a lot of SF questions lately.....how is it that you are able to work on a SF system without certification and working for a SF Partner company (ie. Provisioning access) ? It just seems like you would either (1) know these answers or (2) have access to the partner portal to find these answers. You reference "client", so are you just doing some kind of recommendation without actual SF access?

Every user has an id (User Id) and employees also have a Person Id, which is often the same as the User Id. Users also have a username. If you don't have EC then you don't have employees, just users.
