Auto refresh outbound delivery monitor

Hi experts,

I have come across a requirement where I want the outbound delivery monitor report for sales orders to refresh automatically as new orders come or to refresh after a specific time period.

Is there any way through which I can achieve this.

You could probably "wrap" it in another program that would handle the refresh. There are quite a few posts in ABAP forum on this.

Not sure it's a good idea though... Will someone really be sitting there, glued to the screen? And if the list refreshes what would they do? Maybe what you really need is a notification mechanism?

Before you answer "how" you need to answer "why" IMHO.

They would create delivery documents as soon as a new order comes rather than clicking refresh every minute.

If deliveries are to be created immediately, why don't you mark sales orders with a "Immediate delivery"  flag in Vov8? What's the point of creating deliveries manually if this is to be done asap?

I'm trying to imagine a person checking for newly created sales orders in Delivery monitor every other minute. That must be heck of a boring job I might say.

Automatic refresh is not possible for this outbound delivery monitor report , because Program has to execute again to add new entries to that report .

For this execution some manual intervention required . we cant able to put any code in the program to refresh .
