Login to SAP NW 7.4 portal with mail id

Hi,

We required login to SAP NW7.4 SP12 portal with mail ID which was provided in user details.

We have followed below wiki link and done the configuration as shown in it.

User Mappings in the Authentication Framework of SAP NetWeaver Application Server (AS) Java - Securi...

As per wiki,

1. We have created new policy configuration as Test_Basic_Password_Config.
2. Added two same BasicPasswordLoginModule.
3. Added UserMappingMode = Email in the second module and saved.

Even though when we are try to login with mail id we are facing user authentication failed.

Is this the correct procedure or any steps which i missed out?

Hi All,

Found the solution, in NW 7.4 default policy will ticket. So i have done same steps in ticket policy it is working.
