Posting Balance not cleared (Off-cycle Payroll run A 29.02.2016)

Hi all,

In my client payroll posting is not happening till now. All mapping and configuration is done related to posting like tables T52EM, T52EK,T52EZ, T52EL and T030. Now client wants to do posting from this financial year. I m testing the posting in simulation run but I m facing issue for two wage types which are included in Off cycle payroll run.For those two wage types also all mapping is done regarding posting.

I m executing for first period of financial year i.e April but  I m getting error "Posting Balance not cleared (Off-cycle Payroll run A 29.02.2016)" which is in moth of February. I have checked the configuration for those two wage types.Everything is fine but still I m facing this issue.

Please guide me how to resolve this.

Hi Vijay,

cross check with log running payroll for April1 2016 again, if retro is running from Feb, 2015 or not ? if it is running the retro then go to PU03 and check the dates and click on the icon BONUS INFO. There  may be Off-cycle payroll date line is there or not ? if it is there, delete the line and save. Again re-run the payroll and post it.

Hi Abhigna / Chetan,

I have checked the above table and mapping correct for the said wage type.

I am executing the posting  run for April month which is first payroll period in this year (2016). Till now there is no posting done in the system so I m executing from start of this financial year (April 2016).But

I m getting this error for the February period( 11 2015). In February there was off cycle run for this employee for reimbursement payment and for that wage type all mapping is done.

Please check your RT table and the posting log where it is stopping you . Also if it a an offcycle wagetype , it will have only one date so there will not be a chance for the system to pick the wagetype.

secondly please check whether you have maintained posting characterstics for the Technical wagetypes /561,/562,/563,/565,/566.

Hi Abhigna,

I checked the RT table and Posting log.It is stopping when there is retro run for that wage type.

Ex. Employee has two records in payroll cluster for period 11 2015 (A and P). I m executing payroll for 01 2016. In the posting log its going back to 11 2015 period and giving error for P record.

Is it something related to retro payroll run??

I checked the table v_t52el_nofm and found the there is no entry for /562. Is this the reason ??

Hi Vijay,

that could be one of the reason,  As a part of the posting activities we need to maintain few /5 series wagetypes . Please give a try . Hope it will definitely work .

Once we run the live Payroll, we have to do Posting activity. once you are done with offcycle payroll for the month of february , you have to do the Offcycle posting activity for the Offcycle run .

Hi Vijay,

When we do not have a proper mapping of wagetype with symbolic account . We will face the issue.

Please check the following points.

1. Please check the table V_t52el_nofm and see the characteristics.

2. Since offcycle is a payment wagetype , it should be mapped to the expense account C with wagetype characterstics +.

3.  Also please check in the Tcode pc00_m99_cipe you have entered the Offcycle date in the offcycle payroll run field.
