Hello All,

Do I need to logon in Windows server with <SID>adm user for start SUM Tool for patch SAP installation?

Or  logon in Windows server with my user but I should  start SUM Tool with <SID>adm user?

Hi,

You need to logon to the host server with user <SID>ADM. If you are using the latest SUM version, the old method to start and logon to SUM may not work. You need to use the below command from SUM directory. Before that try to update saphostagent to the latest available patch level.


  • startup.bat confighostagent <SID>


To logon to SUM, you need to use "SLUIGUI", from your browser



Port number 1128 --> if you are NOT configured your hostagent for SSL

Port number 1129 --> if you are configured your hostagent for SSL
