payment terms for customer invoicing

Hi,

is there any way to specific manual payment terms for customer invoicing?

i.e write a date for when invoice is due? as a lot of invoices are due on different dates.

Jay

    Hi Jaydeep,

If you want manual Payment terms then create an extension field for Payment Terms & use it.

    Warm Regards,

    • Hi Jay,

do you want to use payment terms or do you want to change the due date?

When you just want to change the due date - leave payment terms empty and enter the due date as wanted.

If you search for a opportunity to enter own ranges for payment terms ("one time payment terms"), then this is not possible. You have to define one payment term for each possibility. (Question is if it is not a good point to define some "standard" payment terms, which are then commonly used instead of one payment term per each invoice?)

      Hope this helps.

      Best regards

      Marlene

    Hello Jay,

    You have 2 options:

    1) The payment terms on a customer invoice cannot be changed directly on the invoice, but you can change the "due date".

    2) The payment terms on a customer invoice can be changed in the "Receivables" Work Center, after the invoice has been released

    Steps for option 1:

    a) Select the invoice request and click invoice

    b) Click View All and change the "due date"

Note: you can do this when you first create the invoice or after you save it. You won't be able to make any changes after you have released the document.

    Steps for option 2

    1) Go to "Receivables" work center, select the account and click "View"

    2) Select the open invoice and click "Item Details"

    3) Change the payment terms and the system will recalculate the due date

    Thank you,

    Deli
