Error Message 26172 repeating for users for a Specific DIR.

Hi Experts,

I am getting an Error message 26172 for a single dms Document.

when i am trying using my credentials it works completely fine.

i have seen all the thread available on SCN and also cross-checked all the setting and configuration required.

can you suggest any other possiblities by which this error might come

Is it possible that this error might occur due to OS system misconfiguration or can it occur for a specific user only .

Hello,

Compare the user parameters of your id with the id of the user facing the issue.

Check if you have a parameter set named LCA. If yes, remove this parameter and check if issue is solved.

Hi Ameya,

The user parameter is not available in both the users.

User is facing the issue while i am able to do this without any error msg

Hello,

Can you ask user to login to your machine and check if he is able to download the file ?

Also did you do a authorization check between your id and users id ?

User is in client location

Need to confirm the authorization check but as per my understanding we both have the same authorization.

and the strange part is that this issue is occurring only for one DMS document if we are opening some other document the user is able to open it and copy is saved in temp folder in C drive

Hi Experts,

Can anyone confirm that this issue might occur for few users  only and not all..

Is this possible ?

If Yes, what can be the possible root cause.
