Installing SAP PI on SAP HANA

Hello Experts,

I have a small query, Request you to Please hep with it.

Do we have something like SAP PI on HANA.

Our client has started with fresh implementations and is interested in installing SAP PI on SAP HANA.

I do know we Integrate SAP HANA via SAP PI using JDBC drivers.

PI 7.4 onwards your PI Installation is supported on both Classical RDBMS ( Oracle, SQL Server , MaxBD, etc ) and also on a HANA DB. If you need to install PI on a HANA DB, you would need the corresponding HANA Appliance as well.

Hi Prerna,

Just to add to before comments, you should check the PAM (product availabilty matrix) to know all the characteristics, not only DB, before to install a new PI.

Go to: https://apps.support.sap.com/sap/support/pam

And search the, SAP Netweaver 7.4 or SAP Netweaver 7.5 ,etc.

Later you go to Technical Release information -> Database Platfforms. You have also a filter section to reduce the number of DBs.

Yes,You can use HANA as  underlying DB,check the release notes
