How to preserve XS js code history when exporting DUs?

Hi all

I'd like to find a way to preserve the XS js code history of commits when exporting a DU.

The objective would be to restore the code history in the target system where the DU is then imported.

Is there a known way to achieve this? My research up to now found no option

I'm sorry but the DU has no functionality to move the object history along with it.

Do you see other strategies that could preserve history while still deploying the code to the target HANA box?

The version history is maintained in the development system, not the target.  But overall its a bit of moot point since we are discontinuing the repository and moving to Git.  Git will be where all of your version history is maintained separately from any of your HANA systems.
