Hello santhosh c,

Do this -

Step 1 : Run your Report and List down queries in which Text is not visible.

Step 2 : Go to Table RSRREPDIR, Enter the Query Technical Name in Filter COMPID, You will get COMPUID.

Step 3 : Go to Table RSZELTTXT, Pick the COMPUID from Table RSRREPDIR and enter in filter ELTUID and OBJVERS = A.

By above step you will get the Query Description.

Step 4 : Check the Text maintain in table RSZELTTXT, If No text found then open the query in Bex and check the Query Description, Because Query Cant be created with Description.

Step 5 : If RSZELTTXT contain the description of query and this record is not coming in Master Data0TCTBWOBJCT, Then go to maintain the Master Data of 0TCTBWOBJCT, and change the Description manually with the help of Discription in Table RSZELTTXT and Activate the Master Data.

Thanks

HI Bhavin,

I have done attribute and text for 0TCTBWOBJCT I'm able to see the query description name in report output for most of the queries but the description is missing for few only queries because the text data is not maintained for those queries in text table. Please suggest how to extract text data for those queries then I will be able to query description in report output. I have noticed that it is extracting data from myself source system. Please suggest.

Thanks and Regards

Check to see if the text are available 0TCTBWOBJCT_TEXT perform RSA3. Text are available in the corresponding table RSTCMASTERLOAD, if there's no data try re-running the Info package.

Cheers

Thanks for your reply.

It doesn't extract data from RSA3, It extract data from BW itself. RSTCMASTERLOAD has few entries can I delete the entries in the table and rerun the InfoPackage and what would the impact if I delete the entries in the table RSTCMASTERLOAD .

Thanks and Regards

Yes i forgot to mention RSA3 should be executed within BW system,

1.Please execute RSA3 and see the record count and compare with the table.

2.You need to delete only the TEXT entries, the table has attributes as well.

3. Delete table entries and execute the info pack. It should populate values.

Issue is with the delta time stamp.

Hope this helps.

Hi Las,

I have deleted the text entry from the table and executed IP but still the issue is not fixed. I'm not able to see query description for few queries in the report.

Please suggest.

Is the data source is in 7.x or 3.x version? If in 3.x you need to migrate to 7.x and re-activate the business content. (I'm not sure why it's not working with 3.x)

It's a better to add this to a process chain for easy maintenance once the text and attributes populates correctly.

Let me know how it goes.

Las.
