SAP CRM ISA E-Commerce application performance issue.

Hi Gurus,

We are facing a peculiar issue with our isa e-commerce application. We are facing performance issues intermittently. Both standard functionalities and custom functionalities are working fine during most of the times, but intermittently it becomes brutally slow and may get a time out also (with the same set of data). We did a back end [tcode: SAT] performance trace on the remote function modules getting called from e-commerce application and response was normal.

Can you please suggest any tools using which we can identify any performance issue from e-commerce application.

Is there parameters (xcm or crm backend) which we need to take care of (Any SAP notes will be much helpful).

Our network team did an analysis too on the same issue. They also showed, sometime, they didn't get response from the remote server when the remote call happened.

Recently we have upgraded SAP CRM 6.0 to 7 EHP 3.

Your help and inputs will be much appreciated.

Thanks and regards,

    Hi all,

Issue was resolved. There were some long running processes (zombie child processes) in one of the SAP instances. Whenever the webshop requests hit that instance, it was getting slow.

Ran performance trace of a test module in all the instance and it took longer time in the problematic instance.

    Thanks and regards,
