Configuring SAP Web Dispatcher as reverse proxy for Integration between SAP C4C and SAP ERP

Hello all,

We are trying to integrate our SAP C4C tenant with SAP ERP using N/W PI. If we use an SAP Web Dispatcher to configure the reverse proxy in the system,does the Web Dispatcher need to have its own CA signed Certificates? or will the same ones signed by the CA for PI system, can be imported into the Web Dispatcher system? Kindly advise and if any documentation is available, that would be great.  Also is there a simpler way of configuring reverse proxy without using SAP Web Dispatcher?
