Rough Cut Capacity Planning on Semi-Finished

Hello,

Please I would like to know if there is a way to automatically perform RCCP over a semi-finished material.

Instead of creating a profile and load the demand manually for the semifinished product (based on the forecast of the finished product). Perhaps it is possible to do a BOM explosion in some way.

Hello

You could only run RCCP for a material if there is demand created for it on SOP and, as far as I know, there is no BOM explosion on SOP.

Since the actual bottleneck for the finished product is your semi-finished product and not the work center, you can create a Rough-Cut Planning Profile for the finished products where the resource type is a material instead of a work center.
