Hi all,
I am trying to update my current categorization schema adding new categories in ITSM, even when I created a new versión and the current status is active, this changes can't be seen when I try modify or create a new incident (ZMIN)
This is my current categorization schema:
As you could see, the status is active and date "valid from" is today. Also can you see (in yellow) 2 modifications in the categories.
In the second image I tried to create an incident but, the category options are grayed.
In this image I try to modify one of the created incidents, and here I can select one of the categories, but the changes (in yellow in the first image) are not shown.
Other strange thing is that, in some occasions the fields of categories are grayed and another times not.
Why some times are grayed the fields of the categories?
How can activate this grayed categories?
Why the new categories are not displayed?
Kind regards
Hi Andres,
Please can you confirm if you had performed the setup as per below link.
https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/SAPITSM/Multilevel+Categorization
further check below points. (from the link only you can check).
1. Assign Transaction Types to Catalog Categories
2. Assign Application Area
It should resolve your issue.
Thanks

Hi
You need to add this in application area, press new
It should be very similar to first entry for that and start with ZMIN if you had on the technical names, otherwise you had to recognize from the description i.e. incidents and type is D only (Defection loac...)
If you want to edit the same schema press version instead of editing the same one.
thanks
Rishav
Hi Andres
First of all I guess you are using category type 1 here, In application areas, Please add the
Service request/Incident Type Overview of defect (You had currently assigned the type D) here.
Please can you share the screen shot when you click on new in application area, and all possible values you can see for that.
Thanks
Rishav
