I have a requirement to change the Employee Responsible Person of Agreement (One order document in Grantor Project). The Agreement is in closed status but for some specific Business need we want to change the Employee responsible person for many closed Agreements. I tried for many Agreements and it works for some of them but not for all.
While analysing, I found that in standard code only they are updating employee responsible person at header level only but on saving the BOL buffer object, it changes the partner at item level too. Other than this, there is no specific code for Item level to update the partner. Unfortunately, it works for some Agreements only. The difference I found out among these Agreements is that, the status I1447 (Called Off) is set at Item level and may be this is stopping standard to change the partner at Item level. So only the header level partner is getting changed but not at the Item level.
I tried by deleting this status (I1447) from CRM_JEST and CRM_JCDS tables as well but no success. Still it is not updating the partner at the Item level.
Can anybody please shed some light on this issue. I would heartily appreciate your valuable views on it.
