Stock Initialisation (2lis_03_bx) in BW on HANA ADSO content

Hi,

We are working on SAP BW on HANA 7.4 version (SP14) and installed inventory flow from the Business content.

We are getting an issue in initialising the stock from 2lis_03_bx DS. In conventional way of inventory flow, there appears to be a setting of DTP "Initial stock for non-cumulative values", in BW on HANA content, we are unable to find this setting.

Please let me know if we are missing any step or this DTP setting is not required in new flow. Please help.

Hi Sameer,

Since you are on HANA, consider not initializing at all and using cumulative key figures.

You can then sum the 2LIS_03_BF and _UM outputs form beginning of any valid date and always match MB5B.

You can also avoid problems geting "quiet" time for initialization.

You can use 2lis_03_BX for point of time snapshots, but it will not capture backdated postings.
