I can tell you on Informatica as I am not aware of rest of the tools.

Informatica is an widely used ETL tool (by Informatica company) used for Processing Data in the Datawarehouse from a single or multiple Source System. Though SAP has its own ETL tool Data Services.

I'm going to start my production support project ,in that I need to provide support for below mentioned third party applications.

GMARS......CAPA ITEM......METAMINER......INFORMATICA.

I just want to know its..

1.Definition

2.When and where these applications are required ?

3.Importance and Usage.

Also, If you any have any docs/links about step by step process ,kindly share to me.

those apps have nothing to do with Business Objects and do not integrate with it.
