Assigning Work Order to Notification in PM through BAPI

Hi all,

I have requirement in PM where in I need to assign the already created work order to an existing notification. How to achieve this through BAPI?

The BAPI "BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN", method "CREATETONOTIF" is useful only when we need to create a new work order and assign that to the existing notification. In my case both the work order and notification are existing, I just need to assign the notification to the work order header.

Please help.

Thanks.

    Hi,

    My query has been resolved.

    The solution is below:

To link notification to work order header, implicit enhancement has to be implemented in

    FM: IBAPI_PROC_METHOD_TABLE_EXEC.

    From this enhancement call FM:

    CALL FUNCTION 'IOPEXT_MAKE_HEADERNOTIF'

    EXPORTING

    i_qmnum = <fs_order_tab>-QMNUM

Pass the notification number in export parameter.

    Thank You

    Dear Ajinkya,

Please use BAPI "BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN", then send the parameter like below :

    Methods table
    REFNUMBER OBJECTTYPE METHOD OBJECTKEY
    1 HEADER CHANGE 40000000001

    IT_HEADER
    ORDERID NOTIF_NO
    40000000001 1000000009

    IT_HEADER_UP

    ORDERID NOTIF_NO

    40000000001 X

    Regards,

    Yance
