Design Report - How-to-add "Display Currency" field

Hello,

I want to add "Display Currency" and "Display Currency - Conversion Date" selection field to my designed report.

But I cannot find out these in "Add Fields".

Is there a way to add these fields?

Hi,

GoTo Business Analytics WoC --> Design Reports --> Search for your Customize Report --> click Edit With button & select Report Wizard --> Edit Report screen will open --> GoTo Characteristic Properties --> select Characteristic Name --> Change the Value Selection for this Characteristic from No Value Selection to Using Variable --> Finish --> Close.

Now, when you open your Report you will get that Characteristic in your selection area.

Thanks for your comment.

"Display Currency" and "Display Currency - Conversion Date" which can be used in built-in report show different behavior. These are not just filter conditions.

In your way, shown charasteristics filter the data. For instance, if we set "USD", ByD shows only USD records.

"Display Currency" and "Display Currency - Conversion Date" which I want use for own report is same as built-in reports have. Those fields exchange the currency and show the all value depending on  the exchange rate, not usual filtering.

e.g. USD->EUR rate 0.9, PO item/1 ea/transaction currency USD/amount 1 -> report which is set those fields show 0.9 EUR for the record.

Hi Naoki,

You can create a new key figure and assign Conversion and add it to your report.

1. Create a new calculated key figure

a) Select the desired data source

b) Drag and drop desired key figure

c) Assign Conversion Type with Currency Conversion

2) Add the new key figure to your custom report.

Hi,

for own reports where the field "Display Currency" is not available through the "Add Fields" button you should be able to adjust it by using the settings of the key figures.

Yes, I did use it for workaround.

It would be fine if all own reports can have the selection field "Display Currency".

Hi,

Here is the answer below and you can display the currency value by following the options below shown the image.

1.First click on the chart.

2. Go to  additional properties.

3. There you can see the option 

Data Label.

4.There you can change the value from default to other option.
