If they can show print screen then it will be good for understanding.

Hello
For the finished product LAPT11 everything is fine, the problem is happening with the components.
Transaction MD50 will only plan those materials which are assigned to the sales order special stock and your components are probably on the collective stock.
If you want to have the components assigned to the sales order special stock, you must set the field "individual/collective" to 1 on the material master.
Otherwise, you should use transaction MD02 to plan the header material and all the components.

HI Caetano,
Can you please explain the exact difference between individual and collective requirement in SAP material master? Like where we exactly use Individual requirement? where we exactly use collective requirement ? and where we use both together? It will be helpful for us to understand the concept.

Hello
Basically, when you are using individual collective, the component is linked to the sales order special stock. In this case, it will not consider existing stocks and replenishment proposals and MRP will always create a new planned order to cover it.
A collective requirement is not linked to the sales order special stock and MRP will consider existing stocks and replenishment proposals. That means, MRP will only create a new planned order when there is not enough quantity to cover the requirement (shortage).

Thanks a lot for a reply. But I am having one doubt suppose I have created a new components which does not have any stock in past and I selected collective requirement while creating a material master for new components, so whether MRP will run for those component in MD50 for any sales order of some FG product?
