HI Experts,
We are noticing an odd behavior. When adding a ComboBox to the Master view of the Master Detail application, the ComboBox does not open when the button is pressed. The items are loaded into the ComboBox, but clicking the button doesn't do anything.
Adding the same setup to the Detail view works fine.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Thanks Sai and Ankit.
I was asked to investigate by another team. I will ask them the use case, but, I could see a use where the idea is to select from a dropdown, something like country as an example, and that could have an effect either on the master list or detail content.
I did try the example you posted on Plunker and this works fine. I also tried creating a test using the standard Master Detail template and that seems to work. But, what we are seeing is that we are creating an Extension of: GRC_ACREQ_CREO
When trying to add a ComboBox into the Master here, it appears on the screen, you can use the up/down arrows to scroll through the content, but clicking on the control does not cause the ComboBox to open.

Hi Kevin,
I second with Ankit about fiori guidelines.
However, I am not sure why were you not able to see combo box items on Master Page, it should work fine. Here is a sample, where I placed a plain combo box control bound with some products and it works fine: Plunker
Let us know your use case, if it is different compared to above sample.
Regards,
Sai.

Hi Kevin,
I don't think its possible to include a combobox in Master List Area.
The guideline mentions that only Master list is allowed in this area and Master List is realized via ObjectListIteM
What is the use case you are trying to handle?
