ASP servers getting restarted

Our system is not running properly.

APS servers are getting restarted automatically.

Symptom

Adaptive Processing Server restarts sporadically throughout the day.

Environment

• SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise 4.0
• All Operating Systems

CauseThere is more the one version of the awt.dll on the server machine.

Resolution

1. Search for awt.dll using Windows search.
2. Browse to the file locations for each awt.dll.
3. Right click on each awt.dll and select properties.
4. Note the version number for each.
5. If the version numbers are different then overwrite the older awt.dll with the newer one.
6. Restart your Adaptive Processing Servers.
