Hi,

Are you looking to isolate the CI for reasons of a DR test or HA (High Availability) ?

Kind Regards,

Johan

Hello Jim,

The books almost everyone who starts in SAP needs to read (from my point of view) are:

- SAPTEC: Very basic manual about SAP technology and some basic concepts about workprocess, SAP instances, etc.

- ADM100 and ADM103: ABAP administration.

- ADM200 and ADM800: Java administration.

If you need guides for a concrete product please check http://help.sap.com and look for a concrete product. It is also possible to google it using the product name and 'site:help.sap.com' to check the guides for that product on the SAP Help. On the SAP Help you can find the administration guides, installation guides, upgrade guides, etc. for each SAP product.

Best regards.

Hi Jim,

As per your requirement you might find the guides in help.sap.com. I assume you are looking for SAP Netweaver System Administration Guide.

Then after navigating to help.sap.com site you can choose Technology Platform and from there you can browse the SAP Netweaver Platform as per your requirment.

But in order to get some of the guides you will require SUSER ID otherwise you might not able to access some of the documents.

Regarding troubleshooting guides you can access the below links.

(JSTTSG)Main Page - Technology Troubleshooting Guide - SCN Wiki
(JAVA) Application Server Java Troubleshooting - SAP Netweaver Application Server Java - SCN Wiki

Apart from this there are many more SCN Wiki links for some specific problems. You just have to explore more

I would also  recommend you to go through the SAP Book TADM10 and TADM12 Vol 1 and Vol 2 for both of them if you have it.

Regards

Anurag
