Workflow being struck in between the stages

Dear experts.

We are using GRC 10.0 SP21.

Issue: Few requests being struck in between the stages and not proceeding to the next stage in the workflow. Here is the ST22 dump for the user WF-BATCH

Also I can see all these requests in SWBC transaction code, But the manually processing the workflow from SWPC also not helped.

I have gone through all the threads and notes, found a relevant note 2229603 - Assertion failed when approving Access request. Considering the note I have also re-imported the roles which were in the requests being struck, there was no luck.

Could you please guide me on how to analyse this further.

Hi Trilok,

Just for my understanding, whether this is the first request in GRC System or previously some request gone through the same and this is the first time you are facing this kind issue.

could you check the Debug Monitor(GRFNMW_DBG_MONITOR), and identify the status of this MSMP instance. is this for all requests. if yes, then you may have to review your MSMP workflow settings, for the path. What about other type of requests. eg. FF

Hello Trilok,

Since this is running under WF-BATCH and relates to CL_GRFN_API_IDENT=============CP the please check the following points.

1. In Some cases, Due to the missing authorization, user gets dump when accessing the task. Please ensure that the user has appropriate authorizations.

2. Verify if your master data is maintained properly or not.

3. Check the following SAP notes

2013059 - ABAP dump ASSERTION_FAILED during approval of Request

1888486 - Http parameters are lost with SAML 2.0 authentication
