Hi Everyone,
My problem is :
In the report, I have 3 "dimensions" in "Rows Axis",
Only One of them needs a "EPMDimensionOverride"
When the refresh is working, the overriden dimension create a multiplication of rows by crossing all combinations it could find with members setting in the two other dimensions of row axis.
Indeed, I only want the expansion of the dimension overriden, not expansion of others dimensions.
I guess it's probably a option which is disabled. but I don't find 😕
Thanks in advance
Regards
Jonas
Hi Jonas,
Not quite understood the requirement clearly....It would be better to explain with screenshots.
But if you are talking about the number of combinations for each dimension member happening after the refresh then that is the Standard behaviour of EPM! When there are more than one dimension in row or column axis then creates permutations and combinations of members.
Let me know, if your looking for anything else....

Hi JP
First of all, sorry for my explanations of the requirement,
my english is probably the worst of SAP Community..
But yes, I was talking about permutations and combinations of members after a refresh with a EPMDimensionOverride when more than one dimensions is setting in the report.
Is there an option which could change this behaviour ?
Many thanks for your support.
Jonas
Hey Jonas,
Sorry unfortunately there is no setting for this behavior. Normally you could have used a Static report to avoid the permutations and combinations, but in your case you have dimension override which makes it dynamic report!. Need to think of some work around depending upon your report requirements. Try Suppress zero or Filtering maybe....

I have seen similar action with the column axis, when only one (or less than all) of multiple dimension are overridden, the refresh shifts the grid up by the number of rows not overridden by the column override. Very frustrating.
