BADI for org determination profile change

Hi All,

I have a requirement to choose the org determination profile based on transaction type and business role. I am thinking, I will create a custom table with business role and transaction types and pick the relevant one from this table. The code can be written in some BADI. I was searching for a BADI where I can write the code to pick the relevant profile but no luck yet. So can anyone help me by giving a right BADI for this requirement.

Notes:

1. In CRM_ORGMAN_BADI I don't see an option to do this.

2. Please don't ask me why you need based on both of these things. 😉. My org structure and business scenarios require this option.

3. I already checked in SCN, but didn't find a helpful answer.

Thanks,

Faisal

    Hi Faisal,

    you cannot dynamically set the org data profile, but you can create a custom determination rule and assign it to the profile. This rule will call a function module where you can return org data depending on whatever you like.

    Have a look at the existing rules for examples.

    Best regards,

    Hi Faisal,

    You can try to retrieve the business role value from the below method. In can be used in any BADI.

    data : lr_ui_profile type ref to IF_CRM_UI_PROFILE,

    lv_profile type crmt_ic_configprof.

    lr_ui_profile = cl_crm_ui_profile=>get_instance().

    lv_profile = lr_ui_profile->get_profile().

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Check the Following BADI's

    1. BADI_WEBCUIF_ORG_BUSINESSROLES

    2. BADI_WEBCUIF_FILTER_ORGS
