Which type of Excel export are you using? In the Excel 97-2003 export there is an option to "Create page breaks for each page". If you set the page size to Custom and make sure that it's tall enough that your longest group will fit on it, turn on "Dissociate formatting page size and printer paper size", and turn on "New Page After" for the group, you should get what you're looking for.
