SAPMELEGACY SC

Hello experts,

I am trying to do the customization on SAP ME 15.1 and NWDI had been installed and configured.

However, when I was trying to extend a class ApplicationInterface and it was in SAPMELEGACY SC in SAP ME 6.1.  I checked the Official Developer Guide and the LEGACY is not a must one.

I am wondering whether it is OK to go without LEGACY and where I can find the classes from LEGACY.

Hi Johnny,

SAPMELEGACY is optional SC for NWDI development and usually needed to use if you want to migrate code from Legacy SDK to NWDI/DS. For example, if you used Collaboration Plugin and you want to migrate them to NWDI/DS then you will need to use SAPMELEGACY SC for import Data class.

Hello Oksana,

Thanks for your answer.

I knew the class ApplicationInterface was in SAPMELEGACY and I could not find it in the suggested SCs.

Can you please advice if it is there in one of the SCs or I should download the SCA from SMP?

Johnny
