Communicate to Account Team

Hi all,

Is there a way to send a message/email to all members of an Account Team? I know/think you can send a message via the Feed to an Account, and I think all account team members will get the message in their Feed (we will double-check/test tomorrow), but is there any other ways of communicating with an account team other than the Feed?

Hi Mark,

You could explore ways of sending the email/messaging by defining Workflow rules (Administrator Work center ---> Workflow rules).

Select Business Object as "Account" You can add "Account team" in Recipient determination which will then trigger email to all account team members. You can define conditions as required and also set the timing as "Scheduled".

In the Actions, you can either define an email or messaging (actually setup 2 different rules).

Hi Sandico,

From my point of view it depends on your requirement to communicate with your customers.

For e.g. from marketing point of view you can use email Blasts, Campaigns, Surveys Etc to communicate for marketing purpose with your customers. Also you can explore integration of SAP Jam with C4C which is a very sophisticated and collaborative way to communicate with your customers in realtime.  And as Pavithran mentioned that you can use workflow to trigger messages and emails to your Customers( or Account contacts).
