question on BRF+ rules


I am creating a BRF+ rule , I want to check if order type is equal to PM01 than change the description ( which is element ) in my BRF+, else if order type is equal tp PM02 change the order description to preventative order else if its equal to PM03 change the description to corrective order.

can I achieve the above condition in one rule

I mean like switch case can we perform in BRF+ or like if .. else if .. how to achieve that .. please suggest.

    Hi Ramya,

    I am not sure about your complete requirement, but, why not using a decision table, e.g.! That way any future description changes would not impact the rule, but are handled in the decision table. Having said that, it depends what the you are trying to achieve.

    yes you can use the Case Expression and also Decision Table suits your requirement
