Define what excel open analyzer

Hi, i have the following situation.

• Windows 7 64 bits
• SAP 730 32 bits
• MS Office 2016 32 bits
• MS office 2007 32bits

Actually when open analyzer its open with MS office 2016 and this not works, i want to know if i can define analyzer to open with excel 2007 always wich works.

Hello Jesus,

I suppose we need to figure out why Microsoft Office 2016 is not working in your scenario. With regards to SAP Office Integration, MS Office 2016 (32 & 64bit version) is only supported as of SAP GUI for Windows 7.40 patch level. See note 722513. 

So you need to upgrade your SAP GUI client to 7.40 >= patch 5

Does the SAP OI does not work with Office 2016 also or just the BEx Analyser ?

You might have to upgrade your BW/BI add-on also..

Hello Jesus,

If you have both Office 2007 and Office 2016 on the one workstation, this is absolutely not supported - even from Microsoft. You will either need to delete one Office installation, or the other.
